Ms. Gilmore's is an experience. Make sure you allow enough time, not just to eat, but to experience this amazing shop. This place is your basic tearoom and antique store on steroids. Whoever has collected the treasures that reside here has an eye for design. The food was amazing as well. I had the Hot Brown Sandwich and it was excellent. My companion had the quiche but the star of the day was probably the lasagna soup. Make sure you save room for dessert. Cakes, cake pops, macrons, lemon meringe and key lime tarts were all scrumptious. They sell chocolates and ice cream in addition. This place would be an excellent outing for any little girl or teenager. One of those days where a favorite aunt or grandmother takes her favorite little girl for a special time. I didn't actually see any lady from the Red Hat Society but I'm sure they come regularly.

I felt like a little girl in Wonderland. Beautiful glass sculptures hanging from the ornate ceilings greet you when you walk in, the decor in here is akin to the fancy department stores of years gone by. Very eclectic atmosphere, you have to visit just to have the experience. Didn't go to dine, but the cakes looked decadent.

This is one of my mom and I’s favorite places to eat and shop! The atmosphere is so fun! And the good is exceptional! I don’t know what they do to their quiche! But it is fantastic and never dry! Oh! And, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention their mushroom soup. It is so savory and made to perfection! Also, their desserts!!!! I never leave a lunch without a little something sweet! The lemon bar is by far my favorite and great for sharing! The meringue is heavenly and melts in your mouth! Plus, the shopping is always an adventure as there is always new things to find! Such clever creations and antiques!
